First images of the DJI Mavic 2

First images of the newest drone from industry leader DJI

First images of the long-awaited successor to the original Mavic recently surfaced the web.

The image shows that DJI stays true to the original design and color scheme of the first Mavic Pro and has an updated camera and gimbal. It is very likely that the Camera is updated for higher bandwidth 4K video and Rumors are that Dji bundles the Drone with a handheld gimbal just like GoPro did with the Hero and the Karma.

Exchangeable Camera

The camera and gimbal seem to be detachable this time around which might offer some great flexibility. It would be great to just be able to pop out the camera and use it on a hand gimbal while traveling. This way you really could get a lot more out of the camera than you normally would if you would “just” fly the drone.

DJI cancels Event

Dji just recently announced that they cancel an event. This event probably was the announcement event of the Mavic 2, so for now, it is still unclear when the new Mavic 2 will hit the shelves. Dji says they will do the event on a later date but until now we have to wait. Anyway, I can not wait to get our hands on this
