THE SUBSTANCE

Lsd 25 or as most of my friends call it, Acid, is a very peculiar substance discovered by the Scientist Albert Hofmann in 1943.
And our world would not be the same without it.
After at first being reserved for Academics, Artists and Scientists it soon made its way into the minds of millions.
The psychedelic culture swapped over the world like an unhinged tidal wave and soon ended up in the mainstream.
The Beatles, Susan Sarandon, Steve Jobs, George Carlin, Carlos Santana, Jack Nicholson, and even fucking Bill Gates all were influenced by this new mind-bending substance. Ken Kesey meanwhile, drove through the United States of America, giving LSD to everybody who wanted it.

Utopia broke loose, and the rulers did not like it. Not even a bit.

Politicians, teachers, and doctors. All bought and propagated the Big Lie.
LSD will make you jump out of the window! My friend took LSD and believes he is an orange since then.
Propaganda and Lies. Nothing but lies.
Fear sells so the media jumped in on the scam too.
In 1970, President Richard Nixon signs a detrimental law that affects the evolution of the human race for the next 40 to 50 years.

The 1970s controlled substances act. Psychedelics undergo a worldwide ban. Scientists have to stop their research from one day to the other.
Despite the overwhelmingly positive data collected over multiple decades, one of humanity’s biggest boons gets officially abandoned.

People keep on taking acid. But it is now a street drug, getting produced in dirty trailers instead of the labs of Sandoz and co.
The cultural impact can`t be undone. Movies, Media, and culture are influenced by the psychedelic revolution up until today.

LSD does not make you crazy. LSD sets you free.
It is the planet’s antidote to thousands of years of monkey-like idiotism.
But the people in power back then decided to reject it. Rejected the red pill and took the blue one instead.
Times are better now. Psychedelic research is in full swing again after decades and there is a second renaissance of widespread use of Psychedelics such as DMT, LSD, Psilocybin, and MDMA.

In our world of total connectedness, we have the chance to think and study for ourselves.
You do not have to believe my words. Just go out there and use the tools at your hand to find out more about it yourself. The lie that psychedelics are dangerous for your health was sold to us for half a century. We simply know now, that it isn`t true.
